What a Catch, part 1

Just thought I'd give you a glimpse of the Sixth graders' ceramic fish fresh out of the kiln. This week we add color to them  to make a truly grand catch! 

 

Pizza Pizazz

Practicing our "mouse skills" is a lot more fun when we are "making" pizza, right 4K? Great job! 

 

Spring Has Sprung...Sort of

The arrival of Spring at PDS usually means Spring Break, warmer recesses, Easter, and the District and Overall State Art competitions. So of course that also means things have been super busy in the Art room! I'm thrilled to announce that PDS had 19 first place winners and 10 second place winners at District. First place artworks advanced to Overall State in Pearl, MS, where PDS students won 3 firsts and 3 seconds!  I am so very proud of these students, and will be posting pictures soon!
