Shameless Show-Off

OK, I admit it! Today I'm being a shameless show-off! Now that the kiddos have had the first look, I absolutely can't wait any longer to unveil the beautiful new building at PDS to the rest of the world. I still can't believe I GET to work here! What a blessing!!!!!

 First, here's a glimpse of our spacious new (and updated) Computer Lab....

Needless to say my students and I are BEYOND excited!

Oh, Happy Day!

 What a joy it was to finally share the new building with some of our students today! Their beautiful smiles and the sweet sounds of their excited voices made my day, for sure! I'll bet it will yours, too.

New Year....New Rooms!

Tomorrow marks the first day of a brand new school year! Yay! AND the first in our new building! I can hardly wait for special classes to begin and to unveil our awesome new Computer Lab and fantastic new Art room! Until then, I'll be busy unpacking.... 

 

We're GROWING!

Shortly before school dismissed for the summer, construction began on our new addition...And future home to our Art and Computer classes! Boys and girls, you are in for a real treat! I can hardly wait for you to see (and use) our awesome new rooms! More pictures to come soon....

Thank you, Crosstie Arts Council, for awarding our school a mini-grant. Your generosity not only provided our Sixth grade with a fun and  rewarding art experience, but also with special mementos of  their years at PDS. THANKS SO MUCH!

 

Delta State to the Rescue!

Sooo, sometimes even with the best plans ....things happen....like the control unit on our kiln going out! In steps the DSU Art Dept. to the rescue! MANY THANKS  to Ky Johnston for his advice and assistance in getting the offending part shipped off for repair and to Ron Koehler for firing our 6th graders' last pottery projects for us!!!!!!! PDS (and Cleveland, for that matter!) is so blessed to have this wonderful university in our own backyard!
