Fluttering 4K

This week the 4K students had so much fun making folded paper butterflies! We talked about the primary colors, and I wish you could have heard the oohs and aaahs when they opened their papers!

 

 

New Year, New Room, New Projects!

Can you believe summer is over and the new school year is here? AND with it comes some exciting changes for our art classes....beginning with a new location! Yep, that's right! The Art Room is now right across the hall from the library! Miss Ann, Mr. Dan and I have really worked hard getting everything moved and ready. Not only is this room a bit bigger, but it's also very close to the KILN! And THAT'S going to be especially helpful since I have  new pottery projects planned for each grade level. I can hardly wait for our first day of class!
